Des Voeux Chambers Oxford-HKU Visiting Fellowship

Established in 2015, the Des Voeux Chambers Oxford–HKU Fellowship supports one member of the Oxford Faculty of Law each year to spend up to one month at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Faculty of Law.

The Fellowship aims to promote academic exchange and strengthen links between the two Law Faculties. It is generously funded by Des Voeux Chambers.

What the Fellowship involves

During their visit, the Fellow is expected to deliver a public lecture at HKU and may also be invited to give guest lectures or workshops. They will have opportunities to engage with HKU colleagues and students, participate in research activities, and represent the Oxford Faculty of Law as an academic ambassador.

Applications for the 2027–28 academic year are now open.

Members of the Oxford Faculty of Law are invited to apply for the Des Voeux Chambers Oxford–HKU Fellowship for visits taking place during the 2027–28 academic year.
