Des Voeux Chambers Oxford-HKU Visiting Fellowship

In 2015, an annual academic fellowship was established which is awarded each year to a member of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford to visit the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong. As part of their generous support for Oxford Law, and their desire to strengthen links between Oxford and Hong Kong, Des Voeux Chambers funds the Fellowship as well as two scholarships for Oxford students.

The objective of the Fellowship is to foster academic and intellectual exchange between the two participating Faculties, as well as to encourage an enhanced understanding of the Hong Kong jurisdiction by up and coming academics trained in England & Wales. The term of the visit is flexible and will normally be for a period of one month, commencing late August/early September of each year coinciding with the beginning of semester for HKU prior to the start of Michaelmas term at Oxford.
