UNSW Australian Private Law Moot

The University of New South Wales Private Law Moot is the first and only Australian mooting competition with private law as its subject area.  The competition takes place over three days, comprising two days of preliminary round moots, followed by the semi-finals and grand final on the third day.

In 2019, the problem focussed on issues in equity. In 2019, the grand final was judged by The Honourable Justice Julie Ward, Chief Judge in Equity of the Supreme Court of New South Wales; Jessica Hudson, UNSW Law; and Mr John Samaha, Partner at Allen & Overy.
