This panel is the third and final of a series which examines the Supreme Court’s judgment in R (on the application of AAA and others) v SSHD.

This seminar considers the UK Government’s response to the judgment, in particular the new UK-Rwanda Agreement and the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill. Our speakers will analyse these developments, placing them within a broader context of post-Brexit politics and international protection.

Convenors:

Nicola Palmer, Reader in Criminal Law, The Dickson Poon School of Law.

Catherine Briddick, Andrew W Mellon Associate Professor of International Human Rights and Refugee Law, Refugee Studies Centre.
