Sir David was 15 years a judge in Luxembourg, and is a distinguished academic too, having held the Salveson Chair of European institutions  at the University of Edinburgh before taking up his role at the Court and some time before that he was an undergraduate student at Oxford. You can be quite sure he will have some interesting things to say about the  European Union and about the European Union's legal order.

This is the third annual lecture in honour of Sir Jeremy Lever, and it will be Chaired by Lord Hope of Craighead. There will be a drinks reception afterwards, in the foyer of the St Cross Building.

All welcome.
