Opportunity Oxford & Oxford Law Springboard

Opportunity Oxford

Opportunity Oxford is a University Scheme that provides high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds with some additional teaching over the summer holidays with the aim of giving them a "flying start" to their Oxford law degrees in Michaelmas Term. Students on this scheme are required to complete a programme offered by the university before starting their undergraduate degrees in October.   The Law Faculty was the second department/faculty in the Social Science Division to participate in this initiative.  Each year the faculty aims to offer the programme to roughly 30 students.  The programme consists of an online-based learning course completed in the early summer over an eight-week period, and a two-week residential programme

Students do not need to apply to the programme, they will be selected during the admissions process and approached by the team directly once offers have been given.

Opportunity Oxford takes place online and there is also a 2 week residential programme.

You can find more information about the programme on the university website: https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/increasing-access/opportunity-oxford
