We are committed to supporting exceptional graduate students. Every year, around half of Oxford Law's postgraduate offer holders are unable to take up their places because of financial constraints. Rising living costs, increasing undergraduate debt and limited public funding mean that postgraduate study is becoming inaccessible for many outstanding students. The consequence is significant: Oxford, the legal profession and society risk losing talented people who could make an outstanding contribution.
Through your generosity we can help exceptional graduate students to overcome these barriers by offering full or partial targeted scholarships for DPhil candidates or students on one of our taught master's programmes.

Exceptional legal talent exists in every part of society, but opportunity does not. Highly capable young people can be deterred from our undergraduate programme by social, economic and cultural barriers, misconceptions about the University, limited guidance and educational opportunities, or expectations that do not reflect their true potential.
Philanthropic investment will enable us to:
- Reach talented pupils in areas where applications to study here remain low
- Create digital legal-learning and virtual access resources for KS2-KS5 school pupils
- Support teachers
- Offer travel bursaries for pupils to attend our access sessions in person.
A gift to the fulfilling outstanding potential programme will also allow us to expand targeted academic, mentoring and employability support for students from socially mobile backgrounds once they arrive at Oxford.
Finally, you can help us to generate robust evidence about what works, with the potential to influence widening participation and talent development across legal education and the profession.

We attract exceptionally talented graduate students with outstanding potential to shape the future of law. A donation to our Dean’s Scholars Fund helps to ensure that finances are not a barrier to study for our future leaders.
Whether supporting leading research, our law library and facilities, or the next generation of legal minds through scholarships, gifts in Wills help ensure the faculty can continue our tradition of excellence.
We warmly welcome donations made via stocks and shares, Gift Aid and payroll giving. Our team can help you understand tax-efficient ways to give, and how to give from overseas.
