The LGBT+ Rights Discussion Group offers a valuable space for scholarly debate, critical dialogue, and other forms of academic exchange within a supportive collegiate environment by bringing together early-career researchers, established scholars, Faculty members, and graduate students. Open to all members of the University of Oxford, the group usually meets twice each term to hold discussions based on the speaker’s presentation.
 
Arifur Rahman is the founder and currently a convenor of the Discussion Group, with Nicholas Bamforth serving as a senior member.
