Katja Franko, Professor of Criminology at the Department of Criminology and Sociology of Law, University of Oslo

Katja is currently in the last stages of a collaborative project which explores Nordic forms of (in)hospitality and encounters between migants and civil society in Nordic countries. As part of the project, she is (together with Maartje van der Woude and Vanessa Barker) working on the role of private non-state actors in the production of sovereignty, as well as on issues of criminalisation of humanitarian help.
