The JDG is an informal forum for discussing new and original work in moral, political, and legal philosophy. Since its creation in 1997 by Timothy Endicott, the Discussion Group has been a focal point for graduate students and members of the Faculty interested in jurisprudence. We meet on Thursday afternoons during term time. Presentations begin usually at 17:00 and are followed by a Q&A session. You can find our term cards and more information about us at: https://www.oxford-jdg.net/.

Anyone may join our mailing list by sending either an email asking to subscribe at oxfordjdg@gmail.com or a blank email at jurisprudence-discussion-group-subscribe@maillist.ox.ac.uk. Subscribers receive advance copies of the papers under discussion, but we otherwise keep emails to a minimum.

In 2020-21, the JDG is convened by Cecile Degiovanni, Sebastian Lewis, and Andreas Vassiliou.
