The JDG is an informal forum for discussing new and original work in legal theory. Since its creation in 1997 by Timothy Endicott, the Discussion Group has been a focal point for graduate students and members of the Faculty interested in jurisprudence, broadly understood to include moral, political, social, and legal philosophy. We meet on Thursday afternoons during term time, in Lecture Room VII of Brasenose College. Presentations begin at 17:00, and are followed by a Q&A session.
Anyone may join our mailing list by sending a blank email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Subscribers receive advance copies of the papers under discussion, but we otherwise keep emails to a minimum.
