CSLS announces its Michaelmas Term 2026 programme of events

The Oxford Centre for Socio-Legal Studies (CSLS) has announced its seminar programme for Michaelmas Term 2026, bringing together researchers and scholars for a new term of discussion, debate and exchange across socio-legal studies.

The Seminar Series is a central part of the Centre’s academic programme, providing a forum for researchers to present new work, exchange ideas and engage with current developments in socio-legal scholarship.

Convened by Professor Fernanda Pirie, this term’s series features speakers working across a diverse range of topics and perspectives. Seminars will usually take place on Mondays from 11:30 am–1:00 pm in Seminar Room G at the Manor Road Building and can also be joined online. Those attending in person are warmly invited to stay for an informal lunch following each seminar.

The series begins in Week 1 with a special evening session from 4:30–6:00 pm, followed by a drinks reception.

All CSLS events are free and open to all, and those unable to attend in person can join the seminars via Zoom.
