The Medical Law and Ethics Discussion Group, currently running alongside the Family Law Discussion Group, provides a forum for students, faculty members, and practitioners to engage with contemporary issues in medical and family law.
FamMed discussions cover a broad range of topics, including vulnerability in family relationships, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and the regulation of reproductive technologies, with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary engagement.
Each session includes a thought-provoking talk, followed by a Q&A and a free, delicious lunch. This term, we are also offering the option to attend online – attendees can indicate their preference on the sign-up form below.
In-person sessions will take place at Cohen Quadrangle, Exeter College, Oxford, OX1 2HE, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on the dates listed on the Term Card. We encourage attendees to register in advance using the following link: https://forms.office.com/e/6AS2APMHY4.
