Applications for Junior Academic Visitors
Procedure for Junior Academic Visitors
The Commercial Law Centre offers at least one junior academic visitorship per term for doctoral students working in the field of commercial law. The procedure for applications is set out below.
1. Applications are to be made by the following dates:
10 June 2024 for Hilary term 2025
2 December 2024 for Trinity term 2025
10 March 2025 for Michaelmas term 2025
16 June 2025 for Hilary term 2025
2. Applications are to be made by email to Sophie Gibson (clc@hmc.ox.ac.uk). They must include an up to date curriculum vitae, a description of the applicant's doctoral research and a proposal for the work to be carried out in Oxford and the name of an academic referee, preferably the applicant's supervisor.
3. Applicants will be considered by the Commercial Law Centre in a gathered field. There is a fee charged by the Commercial Law Centre for junior academic visitorships, to cover library, IT and administration costs. In addition, meals taken in college must be paid for.
4. A junior academic visitor must have a valid visa.
