Applications for Junior Academic Visitors

We are pleased to welcome back visitors to the College. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic places are limited and any offers are subject to change.

Procedure for Junior Academic Visitors

The Commercial Law Centre offers at least one junior academic visitorship per term for doctoral students working in the field of commercial law.  The procedure for applications is set out below.

1. Applications are to be made by the following dates:
29 November 2022 for Trinity term 2023 
6 March 2023 for Michaelmas term 2023
12 June 2023 for Hilary term 2024                                                                                   

2. Applications are to be made by email to Sarah Hodges (clc@hmc.ox.ac.uk).  They must include an up to date curriculum vitae, a description of the applicant's doctoral research and a proposal for the work to be carried out in Oxford and the name of an academic referee, preferably the applicant's supervisor.

3. Applicants will be considered by the Commercial Law Centre in a gathered field.  There is a fee charged by the Commercial Law Centre for junior academic visitorships, to cover library, IT and administration costs.  In addition, meals taken in college must be paid for.

4. A junior academic visitor must have a valid visa.
