Application Procedure for Junior Academic Visitors
The Commercial Law Centre offers at least one junior academic visitorship per term for doctoral students working in the field of commercial law. The procedure for applications is set out below.
- Applications are to be made by the following dates:
8 March 2019 for Michaelmas term 2019
14 June 2019 for Hilary term 2020
29 November 2019 for Trinity term 2020
- Applications are to be made by email to Sarah Hodges (firstname.lastname@example.org). They must include an up to date curriculum vitae, a description of the applicant's doctoral research and a proposal for the work to be carried out in Oxford and the name of an academic referee, preferably the applicant's supervisor.
- Applicants will be considered by the Commercial Law Centre in a gathered field. The fee charged by the Commercial Law Centre for junior academic visitorships is £900 per term. This includes library access, IT access and administration. In addition, meals taken in college must be paid for, as must accommodation, if offered (this is subject to availability).
- A junior academic visitor must have a valid visa. Visa arrangements will be dealt with by Harris Manchester College.
