Oxford Business Law Blog launches a new series on ‘Corporate Restructuring Laws Under Stress’

This new series of blogs is linked to a forthcoming special issue of the European Business Organization Law Review. The special issue features a combination of country-level papers and cross-country papers, all directed to interrogating how corporate restructuring laws were used and/or reformed during the pandemic period, with a view to informing the design of policy responses to mass insolvency risk in future crises.

Each of these papers will be featured in the series on the blog, which was launched with an introduction from Kristin van Zwieten, Horst Eidenmüller and Oren Sussman. The series and special issue are part of a broader academic project (‘COVID-19, public policy and commercial law’) run by van Zwieten, Eidenmüller and Sussman, which began in 2020 with a grant from the COVID-19 Research Response Fund at the University of Oxford.
