Richard Ekins shortlisted for Think Tanker of the Year award

Richard Ekins, Professor of Law and Constitutional Government, has been shortlisted for this year’s Prospect Magazine Think Tanker of the Year award. This new category was created last year and will be judged by a host of notable judges, including Diane Coyle, Dame Elizabeth Gloster, Michel Barnier and Stephanie Flanders.

Ekins leads the Policy Exchange’s Judicial Power Project. Between March 2020 and March 2021 he published six research papers and eight short articles with Policy Exchange. He also gave written evidence to the Joint Committee on the Fixed-term Parliaments Act, oral evidence to the Public Bill committee on the Overseas Operations Bill, and made substantial submissions to the Independent Review of Administrative Law (IRAL) and the Independent Human Rights Act Review (IHRAR). 

The awards ceremony will take place in December in the UK.
