Biography
Mark Freedland is Emeritus Professor of Employment Law; his university teaching has been in the fields of Labour Law, International and European Employment Law, and Comparative Public Law.
He is also an Emeritus Research Fellow in Law at St John's College. He has acted as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Law Faculty, as Vice-Chair of the Law Board, and as Director of the Institute of European and Comparative Law. In previous years he has held visiting professorships at the Universities of Paris I, and Paris II.
