A recent graduate of the MSc in Law and Finance talks about her experience of studying the programme.

To put in words what I have learned so far is not an easy task. Living in Oxford was the most intense experiences I've had. It was fascinating, challenging and overwhelming at once. It was a place where every day I was challenged with learning new things, developing skills, meeting interesting and inspiring people and having profound conversations about law, economy and politics. It was the best year of my life.

I met amazing people from all over the world, and made friends for life from countries I've never visited. My fellow classmates were not only intelligent but also understanding, each and every student in the cohort could feel a sense of belonging regardless of his age or background. I believe this to be one of the best indicators of the quality of the people taking this programme.

The MLF programme was almost exactly what I expected. I came to Oxford with the aspiration to acquire the economic and financial background I need in order to specialise in financial regulation. However, I  had never studied financial regulation before, nor finance or economics and thus naturally, I had my fears and self-doubts. During this year, I was taught by the world-leading scholars who were able to bring me up to speed and pushed me to develop my skills to the highest level, both in finance and in law.
