Conference & Call for Papers: Embedding Human Rights in Digital Design

The Bonavero Institute of Human Rights at the University of Oxford in collaboration with the Center for Technology and Society and its Diversity and Inclusion Program at the Getulio Vargas Foundation warmly extend the invitation to participate in an interdisciplinary conference focused on human rights and digital design.

The theme of the conference is to explore the existing and potential ways in which rules and norms deriving from human rights and human rights law can be incorporated into the design of digital systems. Those interested in participating are welcome to interpret the conference theme broadly. As one of the aims of the conference is to foster interdisciplinary discussion, authors need not have a background in law, philosophy, or human rights, but may work in fields such as computer science, information technology, or public policy.

More information about the conference and the call for papers can be found here.
