Professor Horst Eidenmüller is looking for a research assistant to help with a project on ‘The Law and Economics of Extreme Sports Sponsoring in a Comparative Perspective’.

Duration and hours

The work is to start immediately and will run until the end of October. The work will be 4 hours/week.


The post will report to Professor Eidenmüller.


This post requires a strong background in contract law. An understanding of (behavioural) economics is an advantage as is an interest in extreme sports (e.g. free solo climbing). The post might involve some fieldwork (interviews with sponsors and/or athletes).


This post is open to current graduate research students in the Law Faculty and the hours are in line with the restrictions on working hours for students.

Rate of Pay

The postholder will be paid at the standard research assistant rate of £14.80/hour plus holiday pay of £2.53 = total of £17.33/hour.


This post is funded by the University’s Higher Studies Fund and by Freshfields Funds.
