Oxford week
Venue
Faculty of Law - Seminar Room L
Speaker(s)
Professor Jonathan Herring, Professor Charles Foster, Robyn Trigg and Anne Lansink

As the formal launch of the Animal Law Discussion Group in the Law Faculty, this session will provide an opportunity to identify members of the research community at OU who are interested in animal law, animal rights, and related issues and get to know each other. We will hear from ALDG’s senior members, Professors Charles Foster & Jonathan Herring, and co-convenors (DPhil candidates), Anne Lansink & Robyn Trigg. They will discuss why they are interested in this emerging field, how their research touches upon the topic, and their aims for the ALDG. We intend for this to be an informal and collaborative session and we would love to hear about our attendees’ interests in the area and how you think the ALDG could most usefully serve you, including: topics you would like to discuss, speakers you would like to hear from, etc.

Food and refreshments will be provided.
