The annual Holdsworth Law Society Moot, kindly sponsored by Herbert Smith, is to be held in Hilary Term 2012 at St John’s College. The event will be spread across four rounds spread across the term, culminating in the final, which will be held on Monday 27th February (Monday of 7th week).
The final will be judged by The Right Hon. Lord Wilson of Culworth, a Justice of the Supreme Court, and the two teams who reach the final will be invited to the finalist supper. The winning team will also receive £150.
This year’s problems will be based on tort, contract or land law, and should be interesting and challenging for undergraduate mooters of all standards.
