Once we accept that who the judge is matters, then it matters who our judges are!

In our last event for this term, Anna will take us into the world of international law and facilitate a discussion about how feminist (jurisprudence) approaches can be made fruitful there. The event will focus on gender disparity on the benches of international courts and tribunals. Using the example of sexual violence in Rwanda and Yugoslavia, we will discuss why female judges are of utmost importance, not just on the national, but also especially on the international level.
