Mr Frits Bolkestein
Mr Bolkestein has been, i.a., Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade 1982–6, Minister of Defence 1986–8, Chairman of the V.V.D. Parliamentary Group 1988–1999, and Member of the European Commission 1999–2004. At present he is, i.a., president of the Telders foundation, the think-tank connected with the Dutch liberal party V.V.D.
