Delphine Perrin

Delphine Perrin is a researcher at IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement). She is part of LPED (Laboratoire Population Environnement Développement)-UMR151 (Aix-Marseille University). 

Delphine is a member of the coordination team of LMI MOVIDA (https://movida.hypotheses.org/) and organizes its monthly online seminar. She is also involved in a collective aimed at studying African migration policies (POMAF - https://pomaf.hypotheses.org/). 

Delphine holds a PhD in law and is graduated from the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) of Aix-en-Provence.  

Her research focuses on legal and political dynamics related to mobility, migration and citizenship in Mediterranean and Sahelian Africa. She is particularly interested in new mobilizations of law and evolutions of it through the influence and actions of various stakeholders.  

Since September 2023, she has been assigned to Dakar, hosted by IFAN (Institut Fondamental d’Afrique Noire), where she has been conducting research on the status and rights and uses of law of West-African foreign nationals in Senegal and in the ECOWAS region.
