Douglas Brand, OBE

DPhil Criminology


Douglas's professional background is in UK and international policing.  He read his undergraduate degree part time at Birkbeck College, London University and he subsequently pursued a master's degree in Applied Criminology at Cambridge University, also on a part time basis.  Now undertaking a D Phil, he combines academic pursuit with his professional career as a senior advisor on policing, governance and rule of law in fragile, emerging from conflict, and developing States, mainly in Africa and the Middle East.
