Biography

Paul Mutsaers studied Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University and earned a DPhil in the anthropology of policing from Tilburg University. He is currently employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Anthropology and Development Studies of Radboud University (Nijmegen). Paul works at the intersection of the anthropological, criminological and pedagogical disciplines. His work is published in journals such as The British Journal of Criminology, American Anthropologist and Critique of Anthropology. Police Unlimited (OUP) and Cultural Practices of Victimhood (Routledge) are recent books that he published.
