Oxford Business Law Blog

The Business Law group in Oxford has set up a blog, the Oxford Business Law Blog (OBLB) (see https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/business-law-blog ). The OBLB was launched on 14 March 2016. Since the launch there have been over 120 posts and the OBLB has had more than 10,000 page views. There are currently three associate editors of the OBLB. This post is for an additional associate editor to join the existing team.

Duration and hours

The work is to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of September 2016, subject to renewal. The hours are expected to be a maximum of six per week, but will vary from week to week. The associate editor will need to be based in Oxford during term time.

Reporting

The post will report to Jennifer Payne, Luca Enriques and Kristin Van Zwieten.

Requirements

The post requires a background in law, preferably corporate or commercial law. Experience of using Drupal or some other Content Management Systems would be an advantage but is not crucial as training will be available.

Eligibility

This post is open to current graduate research students in the Law Faculty, as well as other applicants. The hours are in line with the restrictions on working hours for students.

Rate of Pay

The pay will be at the standard research assistant rate of £14.01/hour plus holiday pay of £2.40 = total of £16.41/hour.  The associate editor will be expected to keep a record of hours worked, and will not be expected to work more than this number of hours averaged out over the year.

Funding

This post is funded by sponsorship provided by Travers Smith.
