Baker McKenzie Access Officer

Grade 5: £24,983 - £29,799 per annum

Applications are invited for the Baker McKenzie Access Officer position.  This is a new full time, permanent post in the Faculty of Law.

The postholder will provide administrative support to the Faculty’s access and outreach activities, supporting and developing the Faculty’s outreach provision and promoting the study of Law at the University to the widest possible range of potential students through a range of access initiatives. 

Applicants must have a good level of education and previous experience in a similar role; a good understanding of educational outreach programmes with experience of organising programmes or events; effective communication skills to deal with an extensive range of people; be sensitive to the particular needs of school children from a diverse range of backgrounds; and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and a flexible and confident approach. 

Flexible working hours are required with some evenings and weekend work throughout the year, and some travel away from Oxford.    The postholder will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
