The British Council is looking for exceptional leaders (aged 18-35) from across the UK to join its international policy and leadership programme – Future Leaders Connect #FutureLeadersConnect.  
Future Leaders Connect – the global network of emerging policy leaders 
As a member of Future Leaders Connect you will access an advanced policy and leadership development nine day residential programme, in partnership with the UK’s most prestigious learning institutions. You will be part of a group of phenomenal young leaders from around the world discussing today’s biggest global policy challenges in the Houses of Parliament and having private meetings with inspirational leaders such as former UN Secretary-Generals. By being a member of Future Leaders Connect you will benefit from developing your policy action plan for change, gain policy skills and expertise, knowledge of leadership styles and approaches, as well as the strategic UK and international networks needed to be an influential leader. All of which will enhance your personal and professional development. 
To take part you must be aged 18-35, be based in the UK and be able to demonstrate your policy knowledge and senior leadership potential. We are looking for individuals with an understanding and enthusiasm to make policy change which will lead to significant change on a national and global scale. UK members of Future Leaders Connect have gone on to access a range of funded international opportunities as a consequence of being part of the programme.
The costs of travel, accommodation and meals are covered by the British Council and the programme is fully accessible. #FutureLeadersConnect Applications close on Sunday 13 May 2018.
Other Future Leaders Connect members will come from the following countries: Canada, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tunisia and USA.
