ESRC Climate Change Centre and Network Plus
Internal Divisional deadline: midday on Monday 30th April 2018 || Funder deadline for outline applications for the Centre is 15th May 2018 and for the Network Plus is 5th June 2018.
ESRC have launched their Climate Change Priority area, worth £23m over the next 5 years. They are inviting applications for a Centre (£5m over 5 years) and a Network Plus (£3m over 5 years) in the first instance. Institutions can bid for either a Centre or a Network Plus.
Coordination of activity needs to take place. Based on the number of potential applications, Division needs to decide whether we need to make a decision as to which the University applies for. Therefore, applicants will need to submit an outline case for support for both the centre and the network to Division by midday on Monday 30th April. At this point, they will ascertain demand for this call, and coordinate as appropriate.
