The Dean of the Faculty of Law invites alumni, friends and supporters of the Faculty of Law for an evening of drinks and conversation at Cravath, Swaine and Moore LLP, kindly hosted by Daniel Slifkin (BA Jurisprudence, 1984; BCL, 1987).
The evening will be an opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni and friends of Oxford in a relaxed setting, and to hear more about some of the thinking currently shaping the future of legal education at Oxford. The Dean will share an early look at plans for the St Cross Road Building, including ideas for new, flexible spaces for teaching, collaboration and debate, and a reimagined moot court designed to help students develop their advocacy skills and confidence as future leaders in the law.
He will be joined in New York City by Dr Thom Wetzer, Associate Processor of Law and Finance; and the Founding Director of the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme, and Craig Edwards, Head of Development, who will also be part of the conversation.
RSVP by Friday 13 March.
