Landmark Cases in Bankruptcy Law
Speaker(s):
Bankruptcy law provides the legal framework for managing financial failure in both corporate and personal contexts. A new book, Landmark Cases in Bankruptcy Law, edited by Michael Lobban, Fleur Stolker and Kristin van Zwieten, will examine some of the most influential corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy decisions in England and Wales from the mid-16th century to the present, showing how courts have developed key principles that continue to guide and shape the law today. At this two-day conference, draft chapters will be presented by authors, each focusing on a single ‘landmark’ case.
