This session is designed to help researchers to explore how to use the Pitt Rivers collections as ways of engaging with all kinds of social sciences disciplines – both researchers who can make ‘obvious’ and ‘unexpected’ connections with their research. The Pitt Rivers team have a huge range of opportunities for researchers to collaborate with them – from one-off events to major exhibitions. Whether you have an idea for an event, exhibit, or educational session that you know would be brought alive by using the collections, or whether you are just curious to learn more about what opportunities and collections are available - this is the session for you. Includes an object-handling session to spark some creative engagement ideas.

Please note that bookings by established researchers will have priority and we will also try to ensure a spread of researchers across departments. Please register at Eventbrite and we will confirm your place.
