Hybrid Teaching Co-ordinator

Deadline date: Midday on Wednesday 15 September 2021

The Faculty of Law seeks to appoint a Hybrid Teaching Co-ordinator to support the delivery of hybrid teaching during the exceptional circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic.  The term ‘hybrid teaching’ in this instance refers to situations where some of the class are physically present and others, possibly including the teacher, are participating online.  The postholder will report to the Dean’s Executive Assistant, and will work closely with the student admin team and associated IT/AV staff.  The postholder will be required to be physically present in the St Cross Building.

The role of the Hybrid Teaching Co-ordinator will be to support the organisation, scheduling and delivery of hybrid teaching on Teams or Zoom; help teachers to identify the appropriate set-up for their teaching; to co-ordinate the allocation of Graduate Classroom Facilitators to classes; and to help the Faculty to respond to changing circumstances through the year.

The successful candidate will have competence at using standard AV equipment, for which training will be provided; clerical or administrative work experience, preferably in a similar role or environment; strong organisational skills; and IT skills to support the scheduling and running of on-line teaching.

This is a full time, fixed term post until 30 June 2022.
