Law Faculty BCL/MJur Bursaries

The Faculty is pleased to announce the continuation of financial needs-based bursaries for students undertaking the BCL and MJur after introduction of the scheme in 2018-19. These will further our aim of making the programmes accessible to all students who are good enough to be admitted, regardless of their financial means. 

The Faculty will award up to eight bursaries of £20,000 each on a financial needs-basis (need will be evaluated on the basis of information collected from a needs assessment form which all those who receive offers of a place on the BCL and MJur will be invited to complete). The awards will not prevent students from holding scholarships and bursaries from other sources (as long as the total doesn’t exceed the value of the full costs of fees and maintenance for the programme in question).
