Lecturer in Law, The Queen's College

The Governing Body proposes to elect a suitably qualified candidate to a Stipendiary Lectureship in Law for one year only from 1 October 2019 (to cover the teaching duties of Mr. Nicholas Bamforth, Fellow and Praelector in Jurisprudence, whilst he is on sabbatical leave).

The Lecturer in Law will be required to teach seven hours per week (averaged over the three Terms) for Queen’s and under such teaching swap arrangements as may be in place with other Colleges. The Lecturer will be expected to teach three papers from the undergraduate Law syllabus, at least one of which must be for Law Moderations and at least one of which must be for the Final Honour School of Jurisprudence.
