These include the following: have proven administrative experience in a similar role involving alumni relations, careers support and use of software systems, with the ability to produce accurate work to high standards; excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate promptly, confidently and effectively with administrative and academic staff within the University, with external representatives from professional firms, and with prospective and on-course students and alumni, including the use of a range of digital media to network and communicate; excellent organisational skills and efficient working methods; ability to manage and prioritise a number of competing workflows; IT proficiency and an ability to use a variety of software packages for a range of functions and a flexible approach to work with a supportive and co-operative attitude and the composure to handle unexpected situations.  For details of the desirable selection criteria please refer to the further particulars, although these include:  experience of using tact and discretion (both when dealing with students and colleagues, as well as with sensitive and confidential information) and experience of organising online events with the use of different platforms.

The post is full time and permanent.  You will be based at the Faculty of Law, St Cross Building, St Cross Road, Oxford, OX1 3UL but you may regular remote working with your line manager.  In-person attendance at events related to the role will be expected.
