MSCA ITN Post Award Workshop

5th December 2018 -10.00 to 12.00

The Research Services (RS) European & International Team and Research Accounts (Tequila Osborne) will be delivering a workshop on post-award matters for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITNs) on Wednesday 5 December.

Most currently active ITNs in Oxford were awarded under Horizon 2020 and the workshop will therefore focus on Horizon 2020 issues (though we will be able to take questions on FP7 related matters).

The workshop is for any Oxford staff involved in the administration of ITNs or those wishing to get involved – finance teams, personnel, project administrators, and research facilitation as well as PIs.  Areas that will be covered include the rules around recruitment and employment of ITN Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) – including DPhil enrolment; financial aspects and how the budget is managed; and other recurring issues such as IP, the consortium agreements and secondments. We will concentrate on  European Training Networks (ETN - the majority of Oxford ITNs) but can also take questions on European Industrial Doctorates (EID). There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and we welcome audience participation.

We would be grateful if this invitation could be shared within your Department to all those involved in any administrative context with ITNs (note that the workshop is not intended for students employed on ITN projects).
