Part-time Researcher – INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

Grade 6: £29,176 - £34,804 per annum pro rata

Reporting to Professor Linda Mulcahy, the successful applicant will be a member of an Access to Justice  research cluster at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies.  The person appointed will have responsibility for the provision of research support for Professor Mulcahy’s existing and ongoing publications pipeline for a fixed period of time, to enable her to devote her time to a newly funded research project during the same period. 

The postholder will compile annotated bibliographies; produce statistics for the articles to be published; set up a repository of materials relating to the publications and other research related work and provide advice and guidance to research students on the collection and analysis of data where appropriate.

The successful applicant should hold a first degree in law, together with relevant research experience in the field of socio-legal studies; have a working knowledge of coding, statistics and how to construct and manage a database; knowledge and experience of working with complex secondary datasets and be working towards a doctorate in socio-legal studies.

The post will be based at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, Manor Road Building, Manor Road, University of Oxford.

The post is part-time (50%FTE) and fixed term until 30 September 2021.
