Professorship of English Law, The Faculty of Law in association with St John's College, Oxford

The Faculty of Law and St John’s College intend to appoint to the Professorship of English Law from 1 October 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are looking for an outstanding legal scholar with an excellent research record, an exciting research agenda, and strong teaching and supervision skills, who will be an intellectual leader in the Faculty and the wider academic community, and will enhance the Faculty’s reputation as a centre of excellence for the study of English law. This post is open to applicants with specific expertise in any field of English law, including public law, private law or any other subject.
