This professorship provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate with outstanding intellectual leadership skills to consolidate and enhance Oxford’s reputation as a centre for research and teaching in intellectual property law.

The successful candidate will undertake original research leading to influential publications at the highest level in intellectual property law and related aspects of information technology law, supervise doctoral students and provide teaching at all levels on Oxford’s range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field, including the Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice. The Law Faculty is home to the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre, which hosts various events including a speaker series and an international mooting competition, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and further develop its activities.
