The Faculty of Law seeks to appoint a REF administrator to commence as soon as possible.
The purpose of the role is to have responsibility for some of the administrative support for the REF processes in the Faculty of Law, culminating in the REF submission in November 2020. The postholder will be expected to process large amounts of data, have excellent attention to detail and an appreciation of the sensitive nature of some of the data.
The postholder will report directly to the Law Research Facilitator, and work with the Law REF Coordinator and the Research Impact Facilitator in the Divisional Office.
Applicants must have experience of managing administrative processes or customer facing work; excellent numeracy and attention to detail, and a methodical approach to administrative tasks; ability to interpret, apply and communicate regulations and procedures; ability to organise own workload and work to deadlines evidenced by formal qualification at a BTEC ND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and/or significant work experience at a similar level. Experience of working within an HE institution or within a service industry environment will be an advantage.
This is a full time post but part time hours will be considered and is fixed term 30 November 2020
