University Card (and Faculty membership)

Information about applying for a Retiree Card can be obtained from the Estates Services website. 

Retiring Associate Professors and Professors may instead wish to be considered for Associate Faculty membership, at the discretion of the Dean.  The Standing Orders state: 'Associate membership of the Law Faculty (Statute VII footnote 1) may be conferred by the Board on...vi. exceptionally, any person found by the Personnel Committee to be making an important contribution to the life of the Faculty but who does not qualify for membership on any other ground.'

Title

Those retiring from Statutory Chairs, or who hold the Recognition of Distinction title of Professor, will automatically become Emeritus Professor of...' upon retirement; no action is needed to enact this.  The Head of Administration and Finance will update your website profile page to reflect this change once you have retired.
