Stipendiary Lecturer, The Queen's College

The Queen’s College seeks to appoint a five-hour Stipendiary Lecturer for one year from 1st October 2021. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing five hours a week (averaged over the academic year) of undergraduate tuition in Law at Queen’s.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach three or more of the following four papers: Criminal Law, A Roman Introduction to Private Law, Contract and Tort. The first two papers are compulsory elements of the syllabus for Law Moderations (and as such are studied by first year students in their first two terms of study), while the second two are compulsory elements of the syllabus for the Final Honour School in Jurisprudence (and as such are studied by students who have successfully progressed beyond Law Moderations).

The postholder will receive a salary on the recommended scale for a five-hour Stipendiary Lecturer, currently £11,463-£12,893 per annum. They will be entitled to lunch and dine in College free of charge five times per week during Weeks 0-9 (not including weekends and with other limited exceptions).
