The Promise of Constitutions Conference - Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya

This is the second Constitutionalism in Africa conference to be co-hosted by the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, the Programme for the Foundations of Law and Constitutional Government and Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya.  It will bring together academics, judges and legal practitioners from around the world, including Professor Kate O'Regan, Dr Luis Francheschi, Professor Yash Ghai,  Professor Nick Barber, Professor Sandra Fredman, Dr Dominic Burbidge, Dr John Ambani, Dr Victoria Domitila Miyandazi,  Dr Ewan Smith and Ms Maame Mensa-Bonsu and takes place in the Law School at Strathmore University.  The panel discussion will cover Writing a Constitution, Elections, Politics & the People and The Role of Judges.
