For the second successive year an Oxford student has been recognised as the Law Undergraduate of the Year in the TARGETjobs awards 2011. Jack Bradley-Seddon was announced as this year's winner and presented with his award by the Rt Hon Michael Portillo at a recent ceremony in Canary Wharf. Competition for the award was very high, and Jack succeeded despite an increase in the number of entries since last year, to be selected from a shortlist of ten all of whom sponsor Mayer Brown described as "excellent". As his prize, Jack will receive a three-week summer work palcement with Mayer Brown, including an accommodation allowance and a laptop.

Last year the same award was given to Richard Hoyle[linkme], now a fourth year student studying Law and German Law, who beat off competition from 289 other entrants to win.
