The Oxford Human Rights Hub (OxHRH) started its Michaelmas Term seminar series with two excellent seminars on Monday.
Philip Alston, the John Norton Pomeroy Professor of Law at NYU Law School and co-chair of the law schools Centre for Human Rights and Global Justice, presented The Progress Narrative in the New Historiography of the International Human Rights Regime. Grainne De Burca, the Florence Ellinwood Allen Professor of Law at NYU Law School, followed with a seminar entitled The European Court of Justices treatment of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.
