The Wadham Human Rights Forum has an exciting series of lectures planned for February. On Thursday 7 February, Ben Emmerson QC, UN Special Rapporteur on Terrorism and Human Rights, will be speaking on ‘Terrorism and Human Rights - Lessons from Syria and the Sahel’ at 5:30pm in the Okinaga Room, Wadham College. On 12 February, Clive Stafford Smith, former head of Reprieve, and Paul Hamann, former Head of Documentaries at the BBC, will be presenting a screening of 'Fourteen Days in May: Edward Johnson’s Fight For His Life' in the Moser Theatre at 8pm. Hugh Tomlinson QC, leading media law silk and Chair of Hacked Off, will be speaking on 'Hacking, Blagging and Bribing? The Press After Leveson' on 25 February at 5:30pm in the Okinaga Room. Admission is free.
