On April 9-11 April, five Faculty members gave two full days of lectures at three of the top universities in Beijing: Peking University, Renmin University and Tsinghua University.Nick Barber and Timothy Endicott (Dean of the Law Faculty) gave lectures on constitutional and administrative law, and Mark Freedland, Jeremias Prassl and Robert Stevens gave lectures on private law focussing on contracts, employment law and vicarious liability. Designed to introduce Beijing law students to the common law approach to problems in public and private law, the series of lectures was attended by about 40-50 students at each law school.  Professor Endicott also met with each of the Law School Deans to follow-up on discussions from his visit in September 2012.  The Faculty also hosted a drinks reception for alumni and students who have been given offers onto Oxford postgraduate courses to start in October 2013.
