Career Development Fellowship in Property Law in association with Trinity College, Oxford

The University, in association with Trinity College, invite applications for the position of a full-time Career Development Fellow in Property Law for 3 years, to commence not later than 1 October 2013.

The Fellow will carry out research of the highest quality, and give lectures and tutorials in property law. To be eligible, applicants must be at an early stage of an academic career, or be aspiring to an academic career, and have career development needs which could reasonably be met by the scheme. Applicants must have an excellent knowledge and understanding of property law, acquired through academic study and/or legal practice; by the time of taking up the post, possess a postgraduate law degree, or be working for a doctorate in law with a reasonable expectation of completing within 2 years; and demonstrated capacity, during the tenure of the post: (a) to produce and publish research in property law at the highest level, making a significant contribution to knowledge and debate in the field (those undertaking doctoral work will be expected to complete their doctorate as part of this); and (b) to provide teaching in Land Law and Trusts.
