An international conference, supported by the Oxford Faculty of Law, ‘Women and Poverty: A Human Rights Approach’ begins in Kigali, Rwanda on 28 April 2014.

The conference will be formally opened by the First Lady of Rwanda, Her Excellency, Madame Jeannette Kagame, with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Rwanda Hon. Professor Sam Rugege, Professor Timothy Endicott, Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford Ms Caroline Ojwang, International Academic Programmes, University of Cape Town and Professor Sandra Fredman, Rhodes Professor of the Law, University of Oxford.
